Vs. No. 26

Yaqeenan, Allah Ta’ala iss baat se nahi sharmaata ke machhar ya uss se badh kar koi cheez ki misaal bayan farmaye, jo momin hain, wo yaqeen karte hain ke ye unn ke paalne walay malik ki taraf se haq hai, aur jo kafir hain wo kehte hain ke iss misaal se Allah Ta’ala kya kehna chahte hain? Iss se Allah Ta’ala bohoton ko gumraah karta hai aur bohoton ko hidayat deta hai aur gumraahi me wo unhi ko mubtala karta hai, jo sarkash hain, fasiq hain, na-farmaan hain.

126. AL HAQQ (The Truth) اَلْحَقُّ ( ح ق ق ) 2:26 – Part 4

Iss lafz par ahadith me, 1000 ke ooper ahadith hain, jinhe hum iss hisse me summarize kar rahe hain;

  • Adab al-Mufrad, Sahih Muslim aur Sunan Abu Dawood ki hadith, ek khoobsurat aadmi Rasool Allah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ke paas aaya aur kaha:
  • “Main khoobsurati se mohabbat karta hoon aur mujhe woh diya gaya hai jo aap dekh rahe hain, iss liye main nahi chahta ke koi mujh se behtar ho (‘joote ke tasme ke barabar bhi’ ya ‘surkh joote ke tasme ke barabar bhi’). Kya yeh takabbur hai?”
    • Aap (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ne farmaya: “Nahi, takabbur woh hai jab koi haq ko nazar-anadaaz kare aur logon ko na-pasand kare.”[1]
  • Sahih Muslim ki hadith, Jabir (رضي الله عنه) bayan karte hain ke, Bashir (رضي الله عنه) ki ahliya ne unn se kaha ke, mere baytte to apna ghulam hiba kar do, gift kar do, aur Rasoolullah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ko iss par gawah banao,
    • To wo Rasoolullah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ki khidmat me hazir huwe aur arz kiya, meri begum ne mujh se mutaliba kiya ke main uss ke baytte ko apna ghulam tohfa me de doon aur iss par aap (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ko gawah bana’oon,
    • Rasoolullah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ne daryaft kiya, kya iss ke aur bhi bhai hain? Yani kya tumhare aur bhi baytte hain?
    • Unhone arz kiya, ji haan hai,
    • To Rasoolullah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ne poochha, kya tumne iss baytte ko jo diya hai, wo doosron ko bhi diya hai?
    • Bashir (رضي الله عنه) ne farmaya, nahi,
    • Rasoolullah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ne farmaya, ye to munasib nahi, aur main to sirf haq baat par hi gawahi deta hoon.[2]
    • Aye ahle Iman! Allah se daro, Allah ka taqwa ikhtiyar karo, yani ke Allah Ta’ala se darte huwe, gunahon se bachte huwe nek amal karo, jaisa ke Uss se darne ka haq hai, aur marna to Musalman hi marna,[3]
    • Phir aap (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ne farmaya, agar zaqqoom ka ek qatrah duniya me gira diya jaye, to wo zameen walon par unn ke asbaab-e-zindagani kharaab kar dega, to uss shakhs ki kya halat hogi, jis ka khana hi zaqqoom hoga.[4]
    • Zaqqoom wo darakht hai, jo dozakh ke nichle hisse se ugta hai
    • Allah Ta’ala Surah as-Saffat me farmate hain ke, Humne iss ko zalimon ke liye azab bana rakha hai.[5]
  • Bukhari aur Muslim ki hadith, Ibn Abbas رضی اللہ عنہما se inn aayat ke baare me poochha gaya,
    • Surah an-Nisa ki ayat, “Aur jo koi kisi momin ko jaan-boojh kar qatal kare uss ki saza Jahannam hai.”[6] aur
    • Surah al‑Furqan ki aayat “Aur jo Allah ke sath kisi aur ma’bood ko nahi pukaarte aur jin jaandaar ko qatl karna Allah ne haram kiya hai, uss ko qatl nahi karte, magar haq ke sath, ya jaiz tareeqe se shari’at ke mutabiq aur badkaari nahi karte aur jo ye kaam karega sakht gunah me mubtala hoga”[7]
    • “Qiyamat ke din uss ko dugna azaab hoga aur zillat aur khwari se hamesha uss me rahega”[8]
    • Rawi kehte hain ke, maine iss aayat ke mutalliq poocha to unhon ne kaha ke jab yeh aayat nazil hui to Ahl‑e‑Makkah ne kaha ke phir to hum ne Allah ke saath shareek bhi tthehraaya hai aur na‑haq aise qatal bhi kiye hain jinhein Allah ne haraam qarar diya tha aur hum ne badkaariyon ka bhi irtikab kiya hai.
    • Iss par Allah Ta’ala ne yeh aayat nazil ki “Magar, haan jo tauba kare aur iman laye aur nek kaam karta rahe, Allah bohat bakhshne wala, bada hi meherban hai”[9].[10]
  • Jami at-Tirmidhi ki hadith, Rasoolullah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ek sawal ka jawab dete huwe farmaya ke, …Allah haq baat kehne se nahi sharmata.[11]
    • Kuch ahadith me ye alfaaz aaye hain, jahan Haiz ke baare me sawal huwa aur aap (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ne jawab dete huwe ye alfaaz kahe hon,
    • Ya sex ke baare me koi sawal ka jawab dete huwe ye alfaaz kahe hon,
    • Ya neend me ehtelaam ya wet dreams ki baat poochhi gayee ho, to iss qism ke jawab dete huwe aap (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ne farmaya ke, Allah Ta’ala haq baat ke karne se nahi sharmata,
    • Kyun ke, aam taur par aisi baatein kahi nahi jaati hain, lekin baaz baaton ko samjhane ke liye, khul kar bolna sunnat hai.
  • Sahih al-Bukhari ki hadith, Rasoolullah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ne farmaya “Jab Allah Ta’ala aasman mein kisi baat ka faisla farmata hai to farishtay uss ke hukm ki tabaydari mein apne par maarte hain, jis se aisi aawaz aati hai jaise kisi saaf pathar par zanjeer ghaseetti ja rahi ho.
    • Yahan tak ke jab unn ke dilon se khauf door ho jata hai, to woh (ek doosre se) poonchte hain: ‘Tumhare Rab ne kya farmaya?’
    • Woh jawab dete hain: ‘Haq farmaya, aur woh bohat buland aur bada hai.'” (Surah Al-Saba: 23)[12]
    • Agar unn mein se ek, doosre ko salaam kare aur woh salaam ka jawab dene ya uss ke salaam ko qabool karne se inkaar kar de, to ek farishta uss ke salaam ka jawab deta hai aur Shaitan doosre ka jawab deta hai.”[13]
  • Sahih al-Bukhari ki hi ek aur hadith, Ek Yahoodi Aalim Rasoolullah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ke paas aya aur kaha
    • “Aye Muhammad! (صلى الله عليه وسلم) Allah Ta’ala aasmano ko ek ungli par rakhega, aur zameen ko ek ungli par, aur darakhton aur dariyon ko ek ungli par, aur baqi makhlooq ko ek ungli par rakhega.
    • Phir apne hath ki taraf ishara karte huwe kahega: ‘Main hi badshah hun.'”
    • Iss par Allah ke Rasool (صلى الله عليه وسلم) muskuraye aur Quran ki ye ayat tilawat ki: wama qadarullaha haqqa qadrihi
    • To yeh ayat nazil hui:
    • Aur Allah aisa na tha ke, unn ko azab deta jab tak aap (صلى الله عليه وسلم) unn ke darmiyan maujood thay, aur na hi Allah unhein uss waqt azab dene wala tha, jab tak woh maafi ya bakhshish mangte rahenge ya istighfaar karte rahenge.
[Quran – 8:33-34][15]
  • Bukhari aur Muslim ki hi ek aur haidth me, Allah ke Rasool
Subah hote hi uss lashkar ne unn par hamla kar diya aur unhein halak kar diya aur unn ka naam-o-nishaan mitta diya.
    • Yeh misal hai uss shakhs ki jis ne meri baat mani aur uss raste par chala jo main laya hoon, aur yeh misal hai uss shakhs ki jis ne meri nafarmani ki aur uss sachaayi ko jhutlaya jo main le kar aya hun.”[16]
  • Sahih Muslim aur an-Nasai ki hadith, Rafi (رضي الله عنه) se riwayat hai ke unn ke chacha Zuhair bin Rafi (رضي الله عنه) unn ke paas aaye aur kaha:
    • Jitne bhi waqt ko zaya karne ke kaam ek Musalman karta hai woh sab bekaar hain, siwaye iss ke, ke woh apni kaman se teer chalaaye, apne ghoday ki tarbiyat kare, aur apni biwi ke saath khelay, kyunke yeh sab haq aur sahih kaam hain.”[18]
  • Muslim ki hadith, Amma Aisha (رضي الله عنها) farmati hain ke, unhone Rasoolullah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ko yeh farmate huwe suna:
    • “Din aur raat ka nizaam uss waqt tak khatam nahi hoga (yani Qayamat nahi aayegi) jab tak ke Laat aur Uzza (buton) ki dobara pooja na hone lage.”
    • Unhone Rasoolullah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) se arz kiya ke main to yeh samajhti thi ke jab Allah Ta’ala ne Surah at-Tauba ki yeh ayat nazil farmai:
    • “Wohi hai jis ne apne Rasool (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ko hidayat aur sacche deen ke sath bheja taakay usay tamam deenon par ghalib kar de, chahe mushrikon ko yeh kitna hi bura lage.” [Quran, 9:33]
    • To jab ye ayat nazil huwi to main samjhi ke, but-parasti ka mamla hamesha ke liye khatam ho gaya hai.
    • Iss par aap (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ne farmaya: “Jab tak Allah chahega, yeh (deen ka ghalba) rahega. Phir Allah Ta’ala ek khushboodar hawa bhejega jo har uss shakhs ki maut le aayegi jis ke dil mein raayi ke daane ke barabar bhi imaan hoga.
    • Lekin woh log baqi reh jayenge jin mein koi bhalayi nahi hogi, aur woh apne baap dada ke (shirk wale) deen ki taraf laut jayenge.”[19]
  • Sunan Abu Dawood ki hadith, Kharijah bin Salt (رضي الله عنه) apne chacha se riwayat karte hain ke woh ek Arab qabeelay ke paas se guzre, unn logon ne unn se kaha: “Tum iss shakhs (yani Rasoolullah (صلى الله عليه وسلم)) ke paas se khair (ya bhalayi) le kar aaye ho.”
    • Phir woh ek pagal shakhs ko zanjeeron mein jakad kar laye.
    • Jab woh khatam karte to apna thook jama kar ke (dam karne ke liye) uss par phoonk dete. Woh shakhs aise tandrust ho gaya jaise usay kisi bandhan se azad kar diya gaya ho.
    • Qabile walon ne unn ko kuch ujrat (mazdoori) di. Phir woh Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ke paas aaye aur yeh baat batayi. Allah ke Rasool (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ne farmaya: “Isay qabool kar lo, meri zindagi ki qasam, baaz log jhootte kalimat par ujrat lete hain, lekin tum ne to ek bar-haq (ya sache) kalam par ujrat li hai.”[20]
  • Sunan Abu Dawood aur Musnad Ahmed ki hadith, Qais bin Sa’d (رضي الله عنه) kehte hain: Main Heera (ke muqaam) gaya aur wahan ke logon ko apne ek bade sardar ko sajdah karte huwe dekha, to main ne (dil mein) kaha: Allah ke Rasool (صلى الله عليه وسلم) iss baat ke zyada haqdaar hain ke unhein sajdah kiya jaye.
    • Jab main Rasoolullah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ke paas aya to main ne arz kiya: “Main Heera gaya tha aur wahan ke logon ko apne sardar ko sajdah karte dekha, lekin aap ka yeh haq zyada hai ke hum aap ko sajdah karein.”
    • Aap (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ne farmaya: “Tumhara kya khayal hai, agar tum meri qabar ke paas se guzro to kya tum usay sajdah karoge?”
    • Main ne kaha: “Nahi.” To aap (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ne farmaya: “Tum mein se koi bhi aisa (kisi insaan ko sajdah) na kare. Agar main kisi ko yeh hukm deta ke woh kisi doosre insaan ko sajdah kare, to main aurton ko hukm deta ke woh apne shoharon ko sajdah karein, uss bade haq ki wajah se jo Allah ne shoharon ko diya hai.”[21]
  • Bukhari aur Muslim ki hadith, Rasoolullah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ne Azd qabilay ke ek shakhs Ibn Lutbiyyah ko Zakat jama karne par muqarrar kiya. Jab woh kaam khatam kar ke wapas aaye to kehne lage: “Yeh (maal) aap ke liye hai aur yeh mera hai kyunke yeh mujhe tohfay mein diya gaya hai.”
    • Rasoolullah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) minbar par tashreef laye, Allah ki tareef bayan ki aur farmaya: “Main kisi ko kisi kaam ki zimmedari deta hoon aur woh aa kar kehta hai ke yeh aap ka hai aur yeh mujhe tohfa mila hai?
    • Woh apne baap ya maa ke ghar kyun nahi baittha raha taake dekhta ke usay tohfay milte hain ya nahi?
    • Uss Allah ki qasam jis ke hath mein Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ki jaan hai, tum mein se jo koi bhi nahaq (unjustly) kuch le ga, woh usay Qayamat ke din apni gardan par uthaye huwe layega.
Phir aap (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ne teen baar farmaya: “Aye Allah! Kya main ne (Tere ahkaam) logon tak pahuncha diye?”[22]

Yahan aaj ka dars rok denge. Iss ayat ke doosre alfaaz ki tafseel Next Saturday In Sha Allah sunenge.

[1] Abu Hurayra reported that a man who was handsome came to the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and said, “I love beauty and I have been given what you see so I do not want anyone to be superior to me (and he either said ‘by the strap of a sandal’ or ‘by a red sandal-thong’). Is that pride?” “No,” he replied. “Pride is when someone disdains the truth and is contemptuous of people.”

[2] Jabir told that Bashir’s wife asked her husband  to give her son his slave (The literal translation is “Bashir’s wife said: Give my son your slave.” This was presumably said to her husband) and call God’s Messenger as witness for her. He went to him and said, “The daughter of so and so has asked me to give her son my slave and said that I must call God’s Messenger as witness for her.” He asked whether the boy had brothers, and when he replied that he had, he asked whether he had given them all the same as he had given him. On being told that he had not, he said, “This is not good, and I will be a witness only for what is right.” [Muslim transmitted it]

[4] Ibn `Abbas told that God’s messenger recited this verse, “Fear God as He ought to be feared, and die only as Muslims [Quran; 3:102],” after which he said, “If a drop of az-Zaqqum [A tree growing in the bottom of hell. Cf. Quran; 37:62, 44:43; also 17:60.] were to fall on this world it would corrupt the people’s means of livelihood, so what about those whose food it is?” [Tirmidhi transmitted it, saying this is a hasan sahih tradition]

[10] Narrated Sa`id bin Jubair: Ibn Abza said to me, “Ask Ibn `Abbas regarding the Statement of Allah: ‘And whoever murders a believer intentionally, his recompense is Hell.’ (4.69) And also His Statement: ‘…nor kill such life as Allah has forbidden, except for a just cause…except those who repent, believe, and do good deeds.’ ” (25.68-70) So I asked Ibn `Abbas and he said, “When this (25.68-69) was revealed, the people of Mecca said, “We have invoked other gods with Allah, and we have murdered such lives which Allah has made sacred, and we have committed illegal sexual intercourse. So Allah revealed: ‘Except those who repent, believe, and do good deeds and Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.’ (25.70)

[11] Ali bin Talq narrated that A Bedouin came to the Prophet and said: “O Messenger of Allah! A man among us would be in the desert and a small smell would come from him, (what should he do) while the water is scarce? So the Messenger of Allah said: “When one of you breaks wind then let him perform Wudu, and do not go into your women in their behinds for indeed Allah is not shy of the truth.”

His Statement: “Until when the fear is banished from their hearts, the Angels say, ‘What was it that your Lord said?’ ‘They reply, ‘(He has said) the Truth. And He is the Most High, The Great. ” (34.23)

[13] Hisham ibn ‘Amir al-Ansari, the cousin of Anas ibn Malik whose father was killed in the Battle of Uhud, that he heard the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, say, “It is not lawful for a Muslim to snub another Muslim for more than three nights. As long as they are cut off from each other, they are turning away from the Truth. The first of them to return to a proper state has his expiation for that inasmuch as he was the first to return to a proper state. If they die while they are cut off from each other, neither of them will ever enter the Garden. If one of them greets the other and he refuses to return the greeting or accept his greeting, then an angel returns the greeting to him and Shaytan answers the other.”

[16] Abu Musa reported Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: The similitude of mine and of that with which Allah sent me is that of a person who came to us and said: O people, I have seen an army with my eyes and I am a plain warner (and issue you warning) that you should immediately manage to find an escape. A group of people from amongst them paying heed (to his warning) fled to a place of protection and a group amongst them belied him and the morning overtook them in their houses and the army attacked them and killed them and they were routed. And that is the similitude of the one who obeyed me, followed with which I had been sent and the similitude of the other is of one who disobeyed and belied me and the Truth with which I have been sent.

[18] Narrated ‘Abdullah bin ‘Abdur-Rahman bin Abu Husain: That the Messenger of Allah (saws) said: “Indeed, Allah will surely admit three into Paradise by a single arrow. Its maker who seeks good by his making it, the one who shoots it, and the one who holds arrows for him.” And he said: “Practice archery and practice riding, and that you should practice archery is more beloved to me than that you should ride. All idle pastimes that the Muslim man engages in are falsehood, except for his shooting of his bow, his training of his horse, and his playing with his wife, for they are from truth.”

God will then send a fragrant wind which will take the soul of everyone who has in his heart as much faith as a grain of mustard-seed, but those who have no good in them will remain and return to the religion of their ancestors.” [Muslim transmitted it]

Then they brought a lunatic in chains. He recited Surat al-Fatihah over him three days, morning and evening. When he finished, he collected his saliva and then spat it out, (he felt relief) as if he were set free from a bond. They gave him something (as wages). He then came to the Prophet (saws) and mentioned it to him. [22] Abu Humaid bin Sa’d As-Sa’idi (May Allah bepleased with him) reported: The Prophet (PBUH) employed a man from the tribe of Al-Azd named Ibn Lutbiyyah as collector of Zakat. When the employee returned (with the collections) he said: “(O Prophet (PBUH)!) This is for you and this is mine because it was presented to me as gift.” Messenger of Allah (PBUH) rose to the pulpit and praised Allah and extolled Him. Then he said, “I employ a man to do a job and he comes and says: ‘This is for you and this has been presented to me as gift’? Why did he not remain in the house of his father or the house of his mother and see whether gifts will be given to him or not? By Allah in Whose Hand is the life of Muhammad, if any one of you took anything wrongfully, he will bring it on the Day of Resurrection, carrying it on (his back), I will not recognize anyone of you, on the Day of Resurrection with a grunting camel, or a bellowing cow, or a bleating ewe.” Then he raised his hands till we could see the whiteness of his armpits. Then he said thrice, ”O Allah ! have I conveyed (Your Commandments)”. [Al-Bukhari and Muslim] .
